My friends and I had the pleasure of eating at LaFourno on January 18,,2012 after the show at Society Hill Playhouse. There were eight of us and we cound not be more pleased. Francis our waiter was wonderfull,it was like we were guests in his home. Food was excellant and price was so reasonable. I have been here before and it is always great. Staff and owner are so friendly. I and my friends will be back for sure.

In May 22, 2011, my wife and I had the wonderful experience of traveling for 19 days in Italy. The food was amazing, Each meal was better than the next. On Saturday 10/22/2011 we had another wonderful experience. We dined at Philadelphia's LaFourno Ristorante Trattoria. This was the best meal we've had since our trip to Italy. The mussels were simply excellent, not a drop of broth remained, the shrimp Fra Diavolo had a generous portion of plump tasty shrimp seasone to perfection, the Pollo Parmigiana was the best I've ever had ( ate wife's leftovers next day). A bottle of Pino Grigio. The desert is as close as I'll ever get to Heaven Al Grafstrom, the owner coupled with an very attentive server made the experience even more enjoyable. You MUST go there!!

We had dinner at La Fourno's on Friday, October 7, 2011. It was a wonderful experience and plan to return.

Their Veal Parmigiana was voted "BEST IN PHILLY 5 YEARS IN A ROW". Let me tell you, it lived up to that title.

Quint little dinning room and the service was great.

Our server(Francis)was courteous, professional, funny and knowledgable about the menu items.

When we return, we will ask for him!
